According to a 2018 Gallop Survey of employees, 67% are currently experiencing burnout at the workplace. And a recent Deloitte study shows that 77% of employees have experienced burnout at their current job. The consequences of burnout in the workplace are significant. Burned-out employees are:

  •  63% more likely to take a sick day

  • 23% more likely to visit the emergency room

  • 2.6 times as likely to be actively seeking a different job

Furthermore, according to a 2017 Harvard Business Review article, the psychological and physical consequences of burnout out are responsible for an estimated $125 billion to $190 billion in employer health-care spending each year.

It is clear that burnout at work is a big problem costing employers a great deal from decreased productivity, employee turnover, and increased healthcare costs.

Burned-out employees need tools to better cope with workplace stress. As such, we have created a Brain Health Series because we believe supporting brain health best addresses this issue.

  • Health Starts in the Brain: Our Brain Health Series addresses the employee’s suboptimal mindset by leveraging the latest research in neuroscience.

  • The Flow State: Human performance is dependent on your state of mind. The state of mind most closely correlated with optimal performance is called the “Flow State” or “Flow” for short.

  • Achieving Flow: Our Brain Health Series incorporates Mindfulness, Visualization, and Recovery strategies at work that move your employees closer to the Flow State.
